Eis Cafe Dolomiti in Darmstadt

As an Eberstädter you should definitely have been to Eis Dolomiti. I have been a regular customer of Dolomiti since childhood and I always feel welcome. The Iced Coffee Dolomiti has been a family-run restaurant in Eberstadt for many years, with excellent self-made ice cream. The iced coffee is highly recommended for visits. The owners and the staff are traditional and authentic. As a customer, you feel very open and very satisfied there. The service is always very friendly and fast, always happy to have a conversation and is very accommodating with a sense of humor, which creates a positive atmosphere there. The ice cream is very hearty and tastes fantastic. The menu offers a wide variety of ice cream and drinks. The exterior and interior areas offer plenty of space for guests. The prices are a bit proud, but personally I like to pay a little more for this family business, traditional iced coffee, which has given me pleasure for years.

Central, quiet location. You sit in a small park under trees, good offer, friendly service.

Today we were 27.07.20 with ??‍♀️?‍??‍???‍♀️??‍? for ? here, the ice cream is good, I think it's a shame that the ice cream sundae are not served in glass bowls / glass goblets, but in paper cups. This was communicated to us by the waitress when ordering (Corona restriction).

The scoops are way too small for the price and the ice creams tastes like flavored frozen water. Not creamy as typical Italian Gelato.

In my opinion the best ice cream parlor in Eberstadt / Darmstadt. Super nice, attentive and relatively fast staff, make often a little fun which creates a good mood. And to some comments where it comes to the prices ...: The ice cream is natural and homemade. In many other ice cream parlors, dyes are included, which of course makes it cheaper than using good natural foods. The only thing I think is a pity that the balls are a little small but that's ok. "Quality not quantity!!"

Some reviewers seem to criticize the friendliness of the staff, also the one or the other the price is too high. I have been visiting this ice cream café for many years now, earlier elsewhere in the Heidelberger Landstraße. What you can tell, however, is that the quality of the ice is always consistently good. The prices are at a completely normal level, as elsewhere! Furthermore, one can not complain about the friendliness of the staff, because it is a family business. Regularly one is served either by the owner or by a daughter and in each case exemplary. However, I think it's a pity that since the move has taken place, the Italian ice cream specialty Cassata is no longer available.

If you read the German posts, you will have a better idea of this Lokal. Tried this Eisladen again in this location (since they moved). The ice cream is good. The prices are above average and the scoops are the smallest we have seen in the years we have been in Germany. This is the same for many years.

One of the best places for good ice cream in the area. Staff are friendly and portions are very generous.
